Alchemist runs its LP fundraising and investor relations on Digify. Like most funds, Alchemist previously managed LP document sharing through general-purpose cloud storage and collaboration tools. Those tools are built for internal collaboration, not for the governance and visibility institutional LPs expect. As the firm prepared to raise from a more demanding LP base, three requirements emerged that they could not meet.<\/span><\/p>

First, a single source of truth. During an active raise, materials are updated frequently. Without centralized version control, there is no guarantee that every LP is reviewing the current version.<\/span><\/p>

Second, engagement visibility. A warm intro and a strong first call do not guarantee follow-through. Without document analytics, there is no way to tell a serious prospect from one going quiet.<\/span><\/p>
