As a capital-intensive financial services business, fundraising isn’t a one-time event. In 2024, Billease completed its Series C equity round. The company now pursues debt financing on an annual cycle while managing structured reporting obligations to existing lenders between raises.
Billease’s finance team uses Digify for two distinct workflows: active fundraising with prospective investors, and ongoing reporting to existing lenders. Both run through the same platform, with different access setups for each.
When Billease closed its Series C equity round, it wasn’t just a financial milestone. After the Series C closed, the data room kept running. Existing lenders now receive secure access to regular reporting requirements — financial statements, operational updates, covenant compliance — through the same platform. Prospective investors are given NDA-limited access, while existing lenders retain access throughout the lending relationship.
The shift was structural.
Before Digify: investor documents sent over email and accumulated in inboxes Billease had no visibility into or control over. There was no clear audit trail and no certainty that recipients had the latest version.
